Before I wake up

(warmed up by charming melody)

let the day dance on my sleepy skin –

light and sonorous

like the pianist’s  fingers

(daisies asters and roses all in melodious spin)

Before I wake up

(like a leaf in the spring)

by your breath brushed with a magic wand

in  wild dance euphoria

let it fall on your temples eyes lips wings

rain of sweet kisses – silver lacy chills …

I remember my hands stroking the stardust

limp dance steps on the border of night

I remember the touch the hope the past

your voice in the dark my face in the light

and in your eyes Orionids rain

as penetrating as winds of the coast

whispers of love – you covering my pain

with scarfs and with your faith utmost

magical were that night and those dreams

which to the pillow next to me flew

I recall in stars white lace of your tears –

and you – astonished – in dark shade of blue…

I’m waiting for you in the autumn leaves

in the moments of gold and red colored eves

in the dreamy droplets on grass fields and stones

on a carousel of laughter

in the fear zone

I’m waiting for you

like for dreams insomnia

like for spring fresh flowers

like for love euphoria

I am waiting possessed by the sweetness of fall

and I don’t remember don’t remember at all

and you – my dream my grey loneliness

you are in my shadow in my soft hands hidden

always with me by me in the rustling steps

counting my fussy thoughts

pouring evening smells

in my soul and my heart

neither one to resist

during this autumn dance

no shadow exists

I’m back after 850 km and 31 days of hiking (yes, I covered more ground than planned)! Soon I will post my journal from the Camino de Santiago – today I am posting just one autumn poem for your enjoyment…..

I missed writing, I missed my blog, I missed you…

open my petals

to the breath of spring

and cuddle the trees with my leaves fresh green

and I wait

safe and free

for the overjoyed birds

for the wind that in clouds like a nightingale sings

and you stare

at the flower of my rosy heart

(as if there were no other on the whole wide earth)

and you smell

like sweet lilac and

angelic hope for the dance

on the meadow in the hug of sun-rays

We pass each other
we – shadows of unrequited love
with faces covered with sun-dust though night around

how many tears will fall to wash away the traces of the past
from the glass surface of that midnight lake
where we met for the first time –
both in love with the dance of sapphire stars

water in the shoes
slows down our course
how did it happen that yesterday
lingers only in a sound of braided words and in
lacy fog of memories covering our eyes – closed eyes

we pass each other
destined for togetherness
heroes of a tragic story
blind to the world
sick from the passion
as young as dawn
as old as time
ready to leave the rudder
of our life

And purple snow is falling down

on eyelids white and stars insomnia

as in the winter frozen sound

as in the summer rose’ euphoria

dull-faded petals shaped so fine

pressed in a corner of sub-conscience

steps of my words – words intertwined

with dreams I dream in pure distortion

thoughts hurt by hands cold unfamiliar

and still so far we are from sunset

when purple snow is falling down

the fire burns our souls and mindsets

don’t let me hide in winter shade

where ends the end of earth… and hope

cuddle my petals my heart sway

don’t let this passion ever stop…

life is

a lavender meadow

underfoot in the dance

swayed by

a melody of grass

until hearts are soft and jittery

the sky beneath me the sky above me

fingers on the rosary

your hope as fragile as glass

my love as

the past
